The Gokyo Lakes are genuinely stunning, and having fewer trekkers there made it feel special. Crossing to the EBC side via Cho La Pass was challenging but manageable with our guide's support. Both Gokyo Ri and Kala Patthar offered different but equally amazing Everest views. Great trek for those wanting comprehensive coverage of the region.
